Bucks Fizz singer and Eurovision winner, Cheryl Baker, and weather presenter and TV host Sian Lloyd, also kindly sent messages backing the campaign.

Place2Be launched the first ever Children’s Mental Health Week in 2015 to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health. Now in its seventh year, they hope to encourage more people than ever to get involved and spread the word.

Imago services support children and young people, vulnerable adults and communities across Kent, Medway, East Sussex and London. Jon Weller, Director of Development at Imago, highlighted the importance of Children’s Mental Health week, ‘It’s so important that everyone is aware of the issues that children and young people face regarding mental health. Awareness and early intervention are key to providing resources and building resilience that will make a difference now and for the future’.
