From 1^st October 2024, Imago will be delivering the Carers Support Service in the City of London.

We will be supporting unpaid adult carers and young adult carers aged 16+ living in the City (also known as the Square Mile).

Anyone can be an unpaid carer, and we know that every caring experience is unique. If you provide care and support for someone, family members or friends, who due to illness, age, disability, a mental health problem or addiction could not cope without your support, we are here to help and support you.

You can expect: 

• Single point of access (phone and email) to the service through our Hub
• Support and guidance regarding statutory Carer’s Assessments
• Individual, tailored support plans
• Emotional and practical support via in person visits in your own home or another local place
• Information, advice and guidance throughout your Carer journey
• Financial support enabling carers to access specific advice on finance, debt, grants and benefits
• Carers newsletters
• Contingency planning and crisis support arrangements
• Weekly drop in sessions
• Regular carer groups and a range of activities both online and in person to support health and wellbeing with choice and flexibility to attend
• Opportunities for mutual peer support
• Free in person and online training, such as Caring with Confidence programme
