Forest School for Young Carers

Some of our Kent Young Carers from Swale attended the Forest School day held at  Out to the Woods CIC   in the Easter school holiday.

One Young Carer said it was the best thing he had ever done!

The Young Carers did a range of different activities like learning how to make a fire, making smores and learning how to whittle!

The Young Carers all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were all asking when the next Forest School would be held!

This respite activity was possible thanks to funding from the Ivy & Jane Charitable Fund with Kent Community Foundation
