London Marathon

We are super excited and proud to announce that Liam Brown will be taking on the epic challenge of running the TCS London Marathon to raise money for Imago Young Carers.

Liam is no newbie to taking on challenges, having already completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2021 for Tommy’s Charity and he will be taking part in the local landmarks 10k this year.

He has also completed a 500-mile cycle for bone cancer, which he did over the summer last year.

Liam has started his marathon training and has two main focuses:

“I am hoping to complete the race in under 4hrs and I would love to raise £2,000 or more for my efforts for Young Carers”.

Liam works for Kroll, a provider of proprietary data, technology and insights to help clients stay ahead of complex demands related to risk, governance and growth.

The company’s London office, have kindly supported our Young Carers previously by providing refurbished IT equipment to those most in need.

Additionally, Liam will be raising funds through his employer to help support Imago Young Carers.

Imago staff Ellie has joined Team Imago and is taking on the Virtual London Marathon to support our work.

Ellie says "I've worked with Imago for over 3 years now and have loved each and every second. Imago support young people across London, Kent and East Sussex. My role specifically is supporting Young Carers across our London boroughs.

Everyday I get to see first hand what Young Carers life experiences are like. Through my role I am able to alleviate some of their worries and concerns by offering emotional support as well as fun workshop sessions and respite days out.

The young people we support at Imago are so truly amazing, I'm inspired by each and every one of them. This is my way of giving a little something back to them all."
