Our adult and youth shadow boards give service users a platform to share feedback, help shape decisions, and contribute to the design of our services and policies.
It’s a great way to get involved, make your views heard, and ensure our services meet the needs of those who use them.
Join our adult shadow board
If you are aged 18+ and registered with an Imago service, you can apply to join our adult shadow board. We have service user representatives from all Imago’s adult support services, across our geographical locations. The adult shadow board provides a forum to share feedback on our services, help shape future developments, contribute to organisational policies and the opportunity to take part in local and national awareness campaigns.
The board meets online, four times a year.
To find out more, please contact our adult support team navigation@imago.community or call our hub 0300 011 1965.
Join our youth shadow board
Are you aged 11-18 years, registered with one of our services, and passionate about making a difference?
The youth shadow board meets online four times a year from 4:30pm to 6pm. It’s your chance to share ideas for our services and activities for young people and help raise awareness of available support in your school, college, or community. Being a member will create exciting opportunities for you to connect with policy and decision-makers both locally and nationally.
To find out more, please contact our children and young people’s team youngcarers@imago.community or call our hub 0300 111 1110
What could you do?
Oliver, a member of Imago's youth shadow board, helped to create social media content to raise awareness of young carers, and created videos showing what he likes to do outside of his caring role to support his wellbeing.
