CAMEO (Come and Meet Each Other) is now online using the Zoom platform, from your own home.

CAMEO is a Big Lottery funded project which looks to support people aged 50 or over, living in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley, and who are socially isolated or experiencing loneliness due to changing life circumstances.

CAMEO Group members are invited to attend a 12 week programme of activities. Topics include: being active in many different ways; healthy living; caring for your planet and yourself; volunteering; community services & the spirit of giving – in a warm and informal group environment.  You do not have to attend all sessions, and can choose which ones you would prefer to attend.

It’s a great opportunity for people to meet others who have experienced similar circumstances and make new friends.

We are currently running our programme online due to Covid-19, to join our current CAMEO programme you just need a device to access the internet from, such as a tablet, computer or mobile phone. Don't worry if you haven't used Zoom before, we will support you to access the CAMEO group programme. Alternatively if you are not able to join us online, please still contact us and we will put you on our waiting list for when face to face meetings can resume.  We will contact you regularly to update you with a timescale to restart those meetings.

A key aspect of the CAMEO is sustainability, and individuals and groups will be encouraged to continue after the programme by engaging in volunteering and accessing community facilities.
