The sessions will run over 6 weeks and will start during Carers’ Week. We are offering tapestry with Renata on Wednesday afternoons and photography with Tracey on Friday afternoons. Both artists are experienced and are contracted to several organisations and have worked with Create on a number of previous projects.
Renata will focus on tapestry and weaving. Create will supply the looms and you can take home your completed pieces. Tracey will focus on photography. The theme will be decided by the participants. Create will supply the cameras and at the end you will get a professionally produced image of your best photograph.
The session dates are:
- Tapestry and weaving with Renata on Wednesday afternoons: 12th, 19th, and 26th June, and 3rd, 10th, and 17th July.
- Photography with Tracey on Friday afternoons: 14th , 21st , and 28th June, and 5th, 12th, and 19th July.
Each session will run from 2pm – 4.30pm at the Carers Hub, Glass Mill Leisure Centre, 41 Loampit Vale, Lewisham SE13 7FT.
