On Sunday 2nd October 2022 Liam Brown took on the epic challenge of running the TCS London Marathon to raise money for our Imago Community Young Carers.
Liam is no newbie to taking on challenges, having already completed the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2021 for Tommy’s Charity and the local landmarks 10k this year.
He has also completed a 500-mile cycle for bone cancer, which he did over the summer last year.
When Liam started his marathon training one of his main focusses was to raise £2,000 and more for his efforts for young carers. We are absolutely thrilled that he raised over £2,800 with more coming in!
Imago's CEO Caroline Shaw said:
Many CONGRATULATIONS to you for completing the London Marathon.
What an unbelievable achievement!!
The money you have raised for Imago Young Carers will go a long way to supporting the young people through our services and completing something as challenging as the London Marathon to raise these funds is fantastic, so for that I thank you very much!
